DSCD Careers After Ph.D.: Career Pathways and Perspectives

This special session will focus on career opportunities and professional experiences across academia, industry, and national laboratories.

The event will consist of two sessions:

Part I: Career Pathways After the Ph.D.

Panelists from academia, industry, and national laboratories will discuss career opportunities, professional development, and transitions into different sectors. The session will include short panel discussions followed by audience questions and discussions.

Part II: Perspectives on Professional Development and Inclusion

The panelists will discuss challenges, mentorship experiences, and strategies for fostering supportive and inclusive professional environments within engineering and research careers.
